ReplyDeleteDear City42 Team, i am resident of lahore, Johar town near G1 Market, There are alot of Fruit seller use LOUD SPEAKERS on there vehicles (i.e Shahzoor/Rikshaw/etc) In this Market, which CAUSES, Road Blockage and noise pollution. These fruit sellers stay in this market till late night Almost Daily.

ReplyDeleteI'm student of LCWU BS-1. I wanted to inform u that our university has no proper means n measure for students in summer even water coolers are failed n light goes without schedule. It's not providing us as such good environment we could bear till today but now they want us to give final exams in summer June 20th 2016 in the holy month Ramadan . 20th June highlights the last ASHRAh of Ramadan we cannot risk our lives to give such finals for universities it is not lahore board exam or CIE's. Please cooperate n shed some light on this issue as much as u can .. I will be glad n very obliged. Please help us by postpone exam datesheet . They have wasted presnt 2weeks as they could plan out finals in this month like other universities... Pleaseeeeeeeeee.... Do something n become our voice
We want u to sincerely work on this issue we have talked about this thing and no one has supported us .. We r students n do listen about threats to LCWU but still we support them by giving full attendance . Nowadays r listening the same news in the college but we r going . But question arise over here why we have to give exams in month of Ramadan by not fasting n giving exams this should not become the trend of Pakistan . ReplyDeleteI have a serious issue going through. Back in April I married a girl of age 24 with her own will and consent. I have all the evidences of Majistrate, Session court Judge and High Court Judge's orders that I and my wife have married with our own consent. But my wife's parents and her family are not letting us live.
2 months back they used their contacts and approached to CCPO lahore and they took us from our house illegally...
When we showed the documents they let us go but after that they my wife's family members (Brother father uncles) broke into the house and threatened my whole family and it kept on going.. after some time they used they bribed the police station of sayyedwala in district Nankana and Cut the FIR of robbery against me and my wife and took my father to the police station and then they all threatened him and bet him there. After that her parents came agai with some goons and took my wife away forcibly.. I am a simple and clean person I have done MSc in education and economics and I'm a teacher by profession but these people have now said that if you will demand your wife we will kill you and your family and we already have put False FIRs against you in different police stations in and out of the province.
I am living in Lahore and they have taken my wife to chiniot.. Please help me. I need justice... please help me out.. I need media to help and support me and get my wife back and protect me.
Police is involved with them. Please help me..
I beg you... I am very much in need. They are brutally treating my wife thier and keep on beating her and demand her to sign the divorce papers.. She was pregnant as well when they took her away from me.
Please help me.. Police has not helped me.. Courts haven't helped me.. Please Media you help me..

ReplyDeleteI do not know really either this request really taken as seriously because this is very first experience that being a Pakistani citizen I am writing to any news channel. I just hope that at least someone work for humanity.
I have just been informed by a my old worker who bought house in "Aashiana Housing Scheme" come under ( Punjab land development corporation ) Govt. of Punjab by paying half payment in advance and rest through bank Installments and he paid more than 36 Installments amounting Rs.8000/- per month but unfortunately he missed 4 / 5 Installments last year and got notices from AAshiana office pushing him pay full amount and what ever he paid to bank did not even talk about, this poor man submitted many applications to their main office situated Club road GOR Lahore but never got any written reply from them. He always requested for restoration of installments and details of amount he paid to Punjab bank of Pakistan in shape of installments.
So today they did a nasty action like the attitude going on the whole system they disconnected his electricity power line from wapda meter just to make pressurize whole family and they can sell this house and the people/Mafia sitting in their offices can make money out the way.
So it is my humble request please support/Help these poor people who are victimized there they have 3 small kids who can not live without electricity. I hope you will react on urgent basis the this humanitarian cause.

Mahmood attended Complaint # 37346 (21.02.2017) then same complaint lodged at 35757425 to Mr. Ali Complaint # 441(22.02.2017). Sent message to MD WASA 03224423205 to Mr. Nadeem, SDO 03017492841 & Siddiq 03216099123 on 23.02.2017 & reminder on 24.02.2017. Mr. Nadeem WASA contacted at 7pm from 03434503938 & enquire about complaint. Mr. Usman from WASA Head Office phoned to confirm # 35873026 (25.02.2017). Reminding for complaint on daily basis but no action taken so for two months lapsed.) Today again lodged complaint 40010 & 40011 to WASA at 1334.

Teachers come to school at 8 o clock in the morning and it is 4 o clock when I am writing these lines, still teachers are in the school with fasting. Punjab Higher Education Department has decided to close down Government shah Husain college, Lahore.
ReplyDeleteGovernment shah Husain college, Lahore is being run in rented building in the vicinity of Township (Government Employees Housing Society). People are demanding for its own building since last 20 years. But government never any notice. So the college is still in one canal rented building.
Education is the prime responsibility of government. Government of Punjab is spending billions of rupees on Metro Bus and Orange Line projects. But could not provide the building of this college.
Due to negligence of Government of Punjab and Higher Education Department standard of education is being deteriorating.
Today a meeting was held in Punjab Secretariat, HED. It was decided to close down the said college and staff will be sent to Chung College Lahore. Chung college is far away from the place of existing college. Staff of the college will badly effect with the merging of the college.
Already there is a strong dearth of government colleges in Lahore. Instead of opening of new colleges, government is closing existing colleges.
It is notable here that according to law this college can not be merged or closed down. Because it is a nationalized college. But Government of Punjab is not following the law in this case.
It is highly regrettable and deplorable that instead of opening of new colleges, Punjab Government is closing existing colleges.

Many residence have re-connection of water line (privately) from Cantt Board techicians and spend thousands of rupees, but no benifit so please raise this problem thanks

XEN said to me that if we want complete our project thou provide money ( as bribe) otherwise you can't get success.
He said also that he gives some parts of money to his seniors authorities.
However we have been giving money to him as per his demands because we wanted to collect some proofs about him , now we have proofs about XEN.
Al the officers like XEN, SE, CE and CEO openly doing sale projects with out advertising of tenders when project have been completing then they call to contractors by newspapers, when i gone to collect the Tender documents then he said project has completed before advertising.
We raise first step to show them unlawful method, but unfortunately any body not doing support us pertaining this matter so i want news channel help to outcome for this subject .
It us requested that please convey our issue to prime minister Imran Khan for punishment them
